Issued 221g Yellow slip for IRS transcript of sponsor's. Also they kept all pictures and chat logs I've taken to the interview.
Questions were,
* Who is petitioning you?
* Date of your marriage?
* Wife's Birthday?
* How long have you known each other?
* How did you two get acquainted?
* Describe how the relationship evolved?
* How many times has she visited you?
* Did her relations attend the wedding?
* Wife's job?
* How did I know the sponsor?
* What am I doing here?
* If I have any relations in the states?

It was a long interview lasted more than 15 minutes!

At the gate they only allow 4 people at once so just stay on the queue.
Phone/Electronics should be kept at the security and they will issue a pass for that.
Your bags and wallet will be scanned.
Walk toward the building and there is another scanner there.
Interview room is on the... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My appointment was at 1.00pm and there were about 5-6 people for immigrant visa's with the same time slot and a couple more to collect their passports from an earlier interview date. Being on time or maybe around 10- 15 minutes early seemed the best as they only allowed everyone in around 1.10pm. Was directed to a seating room where 2 Sri Lankan ladies behind glass windows call you one by one which is where you need to hand over your passport, medical, original documents and the photocopies requested and do the finger scan. You are required to remain seated until everyone goes thru this process and also till after the stamped passports are given back to those who had come to collect them.

Only after did they call for interviews. I was called into a small room and my Interviewer behind glass window was either a SL or an Indian lady by the looks of it and the whole thing lasted about 5-10 minutes. * How long my husband has been in the US * Where he works * Whether he li... read complete review

- It was a pretty 'painless' process.

- There weren't any long lines. The CO was a very pleasant, decent human being. Enjoyed the professionalism displayed.

- Asked several very common questions (such as "How did you meet?" What does your wife/husband do for living" etc).

- The actual interview took only about 10 minutes. 70 minutes for the whole process at the embassy.

Tips: Be prepared/organized. Bring solid evidences with you (focus on the quality not the quantity). Don't panic. Express yourself clearly. BE HONEST!

Hope this review helps somebody!
